“His Voice Today”

🔸️ Attention to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit is needed! 🔸️

What should we need to do in certain circumstances that arise in our lives? What decision need to take? We have been in a situation where we do not be able to know the plan many times. The scriptures are silent on many matters. At such times, it is not always possible for us to seek out a Godly brother for advice!

Those who justify their actions by comparing the deeds of their Godly brother or with the words he uttered, are proving their bad conscience! The Lord has given us the “Holy Spirit” to lead us all ‘individually’!!

For example, at a congregation meeting, a sister might have heard a counsel that is “not to love the world.” This is a general admonition and does not say ‘anything in particular’! The New Testament always tells us such general advices. The sister, who had to go to a wedding at this time, was in a dilemma of determining whether should wear an expensive shiny dress for the occasion? Her mind could have told her so many reasons that she should wear that attractive saree! It was at this moment that the Holy Spirit, who could test her mind, told her, “The only reason you want to wear this luxury garment is to receive good honour from your worldly friends and relatives!”

Thus, the Spirit is most responsible for telling the truth about her. However He would never force her to obey Him! The final decision of everything, depends on her!!

The anointing within us will teach us countless things that no brother or sister in the congregation could teach! We, however, must be very careful to listen to the voice of the Spirit.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father! Give us more attention to hear Your voice that clearly tell us to differentiate what is the sin and what is the world, in our everyday practical life. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
