“His Voice Today”

 “His Voice Today”

March 30

🔸️ “Amen!” needs to become true in our lives! 🔸️

The statement of our mouth is so important. To confess the Word of God is to repeat what God has said! Does any of us find it difficult to say this?! Yes, we only need to say “Amen” (let it be so!) to God’s promises.

In Genesis-chapter 15, the word “he believed” is used first time in the Scriptures. In that chapter, God said to Abram, who was childless, “You will have descendants like the stars of heaven!”. Genesis 15:6 answers, “Abram believed the Lord.” The word “believed” used here, is mentioned as ‘Amen’ in the Hebrew language. “Amen” means “let it be so” So what Abram did to God’s promise here was to say only “Amen”! Thus, saying to God, “Amen!” is true faith!!

Abram, after this, has now received a new name from God, “Abraham,” which means “father of many Nations”! However, his wife, Sarai was still childless. But Abraham was not grieved for this. He still called himself as “father of many Nations.” Do you know why? God had told him so! Abraham believed that as it was!! The meaning of confessing faith is: “while our eyes do not see the fulfillment of God’s promise, confessing “what God told” as it is, is the true faithful statement.

God says us to do the same…. We must repeat just as ‘what He said in His Word’! That’s it!!

Prayer:
Our Father in Heaven! How blessed we are to know that saying “Amen” together with You! Help us to pray in our prayer life with “faith”! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen
