🔸️ God the Lord, is our own Father! 🔸️

No one can call God the Father. In this Earth, through whom we were born, we can call him as Father. We must remember this whenever we pray to God. A person repenting from his sins, surrendering himself to Jesus Christ to be the Lord of his life and be reborn as a child of God, can call the Lord God, as “Father!”

The Israelites was never be able to call God, as their “Father”. The name “Father” was first introduced by Jesus. Whenever Jesus communicated with His Father in the celestial realm, He used the name ‘Father’ continuously. Calling God as “my Father” is an unparalleled great privilege. It is unfortunate that many of us today do not realize this privilege.

This incomparable privilege has been offered to us, living under the New Covenant! Yes, the curtain torn into two!! We now have the courage to enter the Father’s presence! We call him ‘Abba’ ‘Father’! If you want to cherish wonderfully this splendid privilege, you must have read the Old Testament well!?

In the parable of the prodigal son, it’s wondering to see God as having a fatherly heart. That wicked son after wasting his father’s property, reproached his father’s name and returned back to his father. The moment the father saw his son, he immediately ran and embraced him. Can you able to see a scene depicting God, as Father here? Throughout the Bible, in this place only we can see God runs and embraces a repentant sinner!! (Luke 15:20).

Prayer:
Our Father, who are in heaven! We thank our Saviour Jesus Christ for granting us this privilege of having You, as our own Father! Amen.
