🔸️ Let “the sacrificial Cross” be the part in our daily life” 🔸
How shallow our lives and our ministry to the Lord are, when compared to the sacrificial servants of God, who devote themselves entirely to it! What price have we paid to serve God? Have we lost money? Did we lose our comforts? Have we missed our honour? Did we lose the physical wellness? Do you realize that we do not yet know the true meaning of worshiping God, if our Christianity does not dedicate all that this world value “previous”, as price? “Yes, the path of the Cross that yielded everything…. is the path of Worship!!”
‘Margaret Clarkson’, a devotee has written a song about the challenge for calling to the way of Cross:
"I'm sending you;
To work for no returns
Living as unknown.... to work for me even in trouble
I'm sending you!I’m sending you to solitude!
To the place where nobody is there to love you!
Leave your home and friends….
however, to know only my love!
I’m sending you!!”
This is the way where the power is revealed!! In these deadly days of looking for the shortcuts and having the foolish idea of obtaining the ‘power of the Spirit’ through some experiences in these deceitful days, it is imperative that we must keep in mind again and again the “path of the Cross” (Luke 9:23). Jesus with courageous mind, always kept his face firmly fixed on the Cross!
What about us today? This choice is being placed before us every day! If we are looking for some ‘three steps’ to achieve the successful life, then there is no message in the Bible to talk with us! But if we wholeheartedly willing to pay the price, hating us, take up our Cross daily and to follow Jesus!…..We can truly know the power of the Spirit of God descending in our lives and ministry surely!!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! Bless us to walk day by day in the “sacrificial path of the Cross” shown by our Master Jesus Christ! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
