“His Voice Today”

March 11
🔸️ Learn to entrust yourself to God in silence! 🔸
The good thing about Moses is that when he was slandered or objected by others, Moses bowed down in silence when the people said, “Let us make another leader” (Num.14:5). He refused to talk justice for himself. We see Moses lying face down again, even when Korah and 250 Israelite elders opposed Moses’ leadership (Num.16:4).
He does not defend himself or defend his position. Nor did he assert his authority.
When his own sister and brother complained against him, and when God was about to judge them, Moses fell upon his face again and begged the Lord to be merciful to them (Num. 12:13). During his lifetime, he was truly the most humble man on the Earth! God can commit himself to such people!!
When power and authority are being exercised over people, they become spoiled. But Moses was not spoiled. Through the rebellion of his flock, God repeatedly tested Moses. But Moses won all those exams again and again!
There are many dangers attached to the leadership of the spiritual life. However, blessed are those who again and again fall upon the face on the soil, not to argue for themselves at any cost, not to defend for their autonomy and learn to keep quite. He has promised that “the Lord Himself” will plead for His servants (Isa. 54:17). Therefore, it is best to leave these things to God, without taking them in our hands! Our only job is to entrust ourselves to the one who judges justly!! (1 Peter 2:23).
Prayer:
Heavenly Father! We are sorry for our nervous speaking lives … grant us to “silently” surrender ourselves to you in every circumstances! In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
