🔸️ The way of growing in Wisdom 🔸️

The word “just as the Lord commanded Moses” repeated in Exodus 39th and 40th Chapters again and again when the Lord told Moses about the building of the tabernacle in the wilderness! The structure of the tabernacle given by God is of a simple formal appearance. When compared to the gigantic pyramids built in Egypt, which Moses had seen, the Tabernacle that God showed him was very simple and ordinary. If the structure of the tabernacle was given to Moses at the age of 40, when he was self-sufficient, he would certainly have changed it and made it look more attractive. But at the age of Eighty, the self-strength was not much enough for him to do as the Lord had commanded him. Further, that was what brought the glory of the Lord into the tabernacle!

If we are to receive divine wisdom, our human wisdom must be crucified (1 Cor 3:18). If God were to recognize Moses, then it would be possible only after the chaff of Egyptian wisdom, had been swept away.

Paul studied for three years at the feet of Gamaliel, a theology professor at the Jerusalem Bible School. Therefore, after he had repented, he had to spend three years in the Arabian desert to get rid of Gamaliel’s wisdom, so that he might receive divine wisdom!! (Gal 1: 17,18). Only then, it was possible for Paul to get God’s recognition as His servant.

This is such an important lesson for us to learn – but actually only few learn it!

Prayer:
Our Loving Father! Thank you for showing us the way to grow in divine wisdom, without being wasting on the superiority of our own knowledge! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!
