“His Voice Today”

🔸️ The great purpose of our living is to find Life and share it with others! 🔸️

The sun had set in Bethel in Jacob’s life! In the dream he saw there, the glorious purpose of God that revealed in his life! But what was Jacob’s reflection to it? He said, “Lord, I have no interest whatsoever in the spiritual blessings you have given me! More than that, it is enough for me to save myself on my way, and to give me food and clothing. If you do, I will pay you a tithe from the income you give! I will keep you as my God!! (Gen. 28:20-22).

Many Christians today are in this similar position. While they are called for ‘majestic’ position, they are content with the most trivial things. Even though they have been called upon to devote their whole energies to God’s work …… they are wasting their lives seeking money and the honours of this world!!

A devoted missionary said to his son lifting his head upright, “Son, if you have been called by God to be a missionary, I would never wish you to be a great king or a millionaire! Before the honour of gaining souls for Christ, your Majesty and your royal position are not great!!”

Like Jacob, God’s purpose for us is par excellent than the physical blessings!

God’s purpose is generally of two importance. The first importance is to live and manifest the life of Christ in our lives; Second, the emphasis is on ministering the gospel, so that others can see the life that Jesus gave! These are the great calling of a Christian! Apart from this, there is no other higher calling on Earth!!

Prayer:
Dear Father! Please be gracious on us, for we should not consider the greatness of Your calling as trivial. Give us the privilege of fulfilling it! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
