🔸️ Not external ‘world attraction’, must have ‘inner life attraction’! 🔸️

In Isaiah 2:12-16, we find that “for a day belonging to the Lord of Hosts is coming against all that is proud and lofty (beautiful appearances).

Today there are plenty of fascinating attractions for humans! But just think how much of the strengthening in transformation of your inner man will diminish by wondering and appreciating such things! Yes, let us consider in mind the fact that the extent to which we are attracted to external attractiveness will diminish the growth of our inner life!!

Nothing related to external attractions can add to our happiness even a little! But if you live in the fear of God with whole heartedly, you will not only attain perfect salvation but also attaining full happiness!!

God remains the same yesterday, today and forever. In the days of Isaiah, God abominated the seemingly glamorous looks! Even today, in his day, Paul exhorted “not to think the lofty things, but to submit ourselves to the humble things” (Romans 12:16). That is, we must always choose the humble things. But is the mind of humility still found in people today? not at all! Opposite to this, they are more interested for lofty ideals!!

In Isaiah 3:16-24, it is stated how God’s fierce wrath will be expressed on those who seek the external attractions and respect for the Earthly superior things. Yes, God is angry at people who are impressed by the beauty of their speech, their vision and the prediction of others about themselves! These are contrary to Life, such as having interest only in internal enticement, transformation of inner life, living with full godliness etc.! But God is concerned only with the thought of such intimate piety.

Prayer:
Loving Father! We know that the illusion of worldly enticements cannot bring happiness to our inner life to the fullest joy! Be gracious on us to live a truthful inner life! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
