🔸️ Death is the way to lead us into Eternity! 🔸️

The death of a true Jesus’ disciple is not a dreadful horror right now, because the Lord Jesus Christ has conquered death! Yes, death is a defeated enemy for us!! Since Jesus died and thereby defeated Satan and overcame Satan’s power, the Bible triumphantly tells us that we no longer need to fear death (Heb. 2:14,15). From now on, Jesus alone can open the door of death for His disciples! Satan cannot ‘touch’ them!

What Happens When a Man dies? When the event of the rich man and Lazarus being talked about, Jesus clearly answered for these questions. Before you know these truths, sit down for a while and carefully read the verses of Luke 16:19-31.

This event is not a parable! Jesus never mentioned anyone by name in any of the parables. But in this occasion, Jesus spoke by name. Yes, the rich man and Lazarus lived in the land of Israel!!

In the context of Luke chapter 16 we read, Jesus made it clear that there are only “two places” for the dead to go. 1) Abraham’s lap, the Scripture called it as ‘Paradise’. 2) Hell. This place is a place of bitterness and torment. When a man dies, his soul goes immediately to any one of these two places before his body is buried on this Earth! Wherever he goes, he is conscious of all that is happening around him! Even though he has no physical body, he would be in a state of having the sentience of either comfort or pain!!

Like the Trinity, man is in Spirit, Soul, and Body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). At death, the spirit and the soul leave the body and go to paradise or hell!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father! We have come to know that death is the step or the doorway that leading us to Eternity! Blessed be to the name of Jesus Christ, the Savior who gives us Eternal life! Amen.
