🔸️ “God protects His People like a wall” 🔸

Satan or those who hate us may want to persecute us in many ways!  “But” “They can’t get closer to us without God’s permission!!

In the Old Testament, Satan felt God’s protection around Job as a fence so that no harm could be touched (Job 1:10).  However, in order to sanctify Job, God opened the fence “a little” and allowed Satan to attack him.  How much the fence ought to be opened?  Lord God only determined it!  Initially ‘little’ was opened (Job 1).  After that, it was ‘slightly more’ opened!  (Job 2).  Thus the Sabeans and the Chaldeans entered through the fence that God had opened and plundered the properties of Job (Job 1: 15,17).  Even the storm that struck the children of Job was possible through the open fence of God.  However, it was only after God opened the fence “still a little more” when Job’s body was infected and he was able to enter into “the disease”.

Job did not know at first that God was in control of all that was happening to him.  He realized it only after everything had been accomplished.  We cannot blame Job, because he does not have the written  scriptures, like us.  But now, we have the scriptures to declare who rules over the children of God!  We also know the declaration of Lord God in Zechariah 2:5 “I will be a wall of fire around it…”

But it is pity ….. like Elisha’s servant, our eyes often go blind to see this Heavenly  truth.  Our eyes do not see the wall of fire around us.  Elisha not feared even a little, because he could see this (2 Kings 6:15-17).  It is very necessary that our eyes be opened like this!

Dear Loving Father!  We realize that You carefully do protect Your people. We are truly blessed.  In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
