“His Voice Today”

🔸️ A life that never loses its joy! 🔸

Why does God allow us to “suddenly lose money or be deceived by unscrupulous people?” Many of us have had the experience of having our money “pickpocketed” in a crowded train or bus. I consider these moments as a good opportunity to pray for these thieves or cheaters. Above all, God wants us to be freed from our extraordinary attachment to money and worldly possessions!!

God does not want us to worry about every lost rupee or rejoice for every money we earn! Yes, He wants us to rejoice in Him. How is this happiness? The unchanging happiness that cannot be increase by Worldly profits or diminish by Worldly losses!

When Lord Jesus Christ lived on this Earth, He did just like that. We are now called to walk as He walked. Bible says, “Let the mind of Christ Jesus be upon you” (Philippians 2:5). If someone had given Jesus Christ a thankful “ten thousand rupees” for being blessed by His ministry, this act could not have increased His joy even a little! Because the joy He had with the Father was “already” full and overflowed!! Likewise, His happiness was not diminished by the loss of worldly things! Judas Iscariot was exploiting and stealing too much from the gifted money of Jesus. Jesus too knew this. Even though Jesus felt sorry for Judas Iscariot, He was never ‘grieved’ for the money He had lost!

Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father! I want the constant joy of “rejoicing in You”. Bless me to get rid off the hypocritical worldly pleasures. In the name of Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
