“His Voice Today”

🔸️ Every suffering has a divine purpose! 🔸️

If we find that God has a “glorious purpose” in every situation that He allows to interfere in our lives, what a joyous and wonderful life it is! Even if He answers “no” to our prayers, it still flows from the heart of His perfect love!!

God sent poisonous snakes to bite the people of Israel in the wilderness, and that too as an act of His love? (Numbers 21:6). Of course it is! Because, only through this could God make them repent and bring them back to Him so that He could bless them! He wanted to bless them….. but, until they repented, it was something that he should not have done!!

The Lord says, “For I know the plans I have for you”  ​this is the LORD’s declaration ​“plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope!” (Jeremiah 29:11).

There is a reason why God allowed this world to be an insecure place full of disease and poisonous snakes! What it means, is to turn the people towards Him in their misery and to bless them!! So now we can see how God uses all the evil that Satan brings to accomplish God’s purpose! We will know this truth perfectly, when we see those who have entered into eternity and find how God used the serpent-bite, the economic crisis and cancer to turn them away from sin and make them His children! Further, we will hear on that day how God used the sufferings to sanctify His children and achieve His characteristics!!

Prayer:
Our Merciful Father! Gracious on us so that we do not underestimate the burden and through them to accomplish your purpose in us! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
