🔸️ Doing only God’s Will is the sustainable life! 🔸️

For the question “Why did Jesus come to this Earth?”, Scripture categorically says “Jesus came to do the Father’s will”. Jesus said this in John 6:38, “For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of Him who sent me”. He did not come to this Earth primarily to die for the sins of this world! Yes, He came to this Earth to do His Father’s will. Jesus went to Calvary and gave His life. However, even His death in Calvary, was a part of the Father’s will in His life!!

Jesus said in John 4:34,
“My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work.” Just as a severe hungry man who screams out for food, the whole personality of Jesus cries out to do Father’s will. Like Jesus, those who have a longing desire to do the Father’s will in every part of their life are only the true followers of Jesus Christ.

Peter said in 1Peter 4:1-2 verses: “Therefore, since Christ suffered in His body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude; As a result, He does not live the rest of His Earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. Likewise, the Apostle John said in his Epistle, “The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever” (1John 2:17).

The Apostle’s burdened prayer for the believers was that “they might be spiritually mature and that they might be fully convinced about all that God wills. The Apostls were clearly aware that “if not educating a man to surrender the remaining part of his life to do God’s will and if the salvation is only for mere forgiveness of sin, then the salvation is unstable!

Prayer:
Our loving Father! With nothing else but the burden of our lives is to do the “will of God”; Bless us to have it to be the main burden of our lives! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
