🔸️ The path of the Cross is the path of Power! 🔸

Paul wrote to the Corinthians: “The crucified Christ is the Lord’s power.” Further, Paul wrote to them, “In fact, He was crucified in weakness, but He lives by God’s power. For we also are weak in Him, yet we live with Him by God’s power” (1Corin.1:23,24; 2Corin.13:4). These Corinthian Christians mistakenly considered “the gift of unknown tongue as a sign of the power of God”…. That was why, Paul had to correct them. Paul’s conclusion to the Corinthians was this: “the power of God can never be seen when the brethren speak in tongues! Praise the Lord for the gift that is in you!! But because of this, don’t make any mistake. Truly, the power of God is revealed only “in the Cross” and “through the Cross”! Yes, through the weakness of man, the power of God can be seen!!” Paul categorically said.

I have heard a message from a godly man, for how God explained the “mystery of spiritual power” to him. In that message, that godly man prayed like this: “Lord, you have to perform a great work for me to find the spiritual power!” He kept on praying continuously for some period of time. Finally, the Lord looked at the godly man and asked, “How did you receive your forgiveness?” For that, the godly man replied “Lord, I have come to you, knowing that I am the worst sinner on this Earth! You too have forgiven me freely!”. Then the Lord said to him, “Like that, come to me, realising that now you are the most weakest person on this Earth! then you will receive My power!!”. This was how that godly man began to experience “the power of God” in his life!!

Yes, “the path of the Cross is the path of Power!”

Prayer:
Loving Father! Praises be to you, for the “path of Cross” that breaks our self-strength! We know that, that is the way to receive God’s power. Thank you Lord! In the name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
