🔸️ Our’s self must be crucified!🔸

Our self-life is the main and primary enemy of the Life of Christ. The Bible teaches this self-life as “The Flesh”. This flesh is the storehouse of all kinds of evil desires that dwells within us! Because of these despicable desires, we are tested and tempted to seek our self-interest and to go our own way!

If you are honest, you will acknowledge that even your good works have been tainted by evil intentions! Tainted evil motives arise from our lusts and desires!! So unless we hate this flesh, we can never follow the Lord!!

This is why Jesus repeatedly reiterated our hating (or losing) of our own life. Thus, we find that the Gospels are repeating 6 times in reference to our self-loathing. (Matthew 10:39; 16:25; Mark 8:35; Luke 9:24; 14:26; John 12:25). This message that the Lord Jesus proclaimed, has been mentioned often in the Gospels. But…alas, this message today is seldom preached….. very little understood!

If you want to hate your own life, you have to put an end from seeking to look for your own rights, self gains, self worth, self ways, self ambitions and aspirations! Are you ready to go this way? Then only you can become a disciple of Jesus!!

Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father! We are ready to see the ways of the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus and follow in His footsteps! Like him, please make us to self-deny! In the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen.
