🔸️ In our witness don’t seek for humans glory, which is evil! 🔸

It is good to witness the goodness that God has done for us. But most likely, the purpose of their testimony is to say proudly “These are what I have done for the Lord” and so the quality of their witness is diminished. In their testimonies we see the “pride” of self-exaltation “how faithful I am” and “how much I have paid for the Lord …..”. Or we talk about our sacrificial work while talking with some people. These are self-exalted, for the other believers to think of us, as we are the “wholehearted person.”

God saw the hidden intention of Ananias, Sapphira who were seeking fame at the beginning Congregation. Those who seeks men’s fame for their deeds, when they realize this fact, it will bring fear to all of us!

In Matthew 6:3, we are told how to do the good works of charity or giving, “so that your left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.” As we all know, our right hand or left hand is not individually knowledgeable! How then Jesus told His disciples the left hand could not know what the right hand was doing, and we could mean it “the body of Christ.” Those who are like the right hand and the left hand are in the body of Christ. It is possible, therefore, to give the good works we do without giving publicly to another brother or sister, who are the body of Christ.

Even if you want to help a brother in need, try to give it in concealing. Only then he can’t be stuck with you! Perhaps that brother might have the thinking of the help he received from another person, you don’t care about that. In such a case, the reward you will receive at the last day will be much higher!

Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! Please be gracious on us to dismiss the “praises of men” and aiming to get the reward only from You, Lord! In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
