🔸️ God-given Testimony is a True Blessing! 🔸

The only condition that must be fulfilled in order to receive the blessings of the worldly things through God is that one must be either good or evil and that’s enough!! This is because, Jesus said “For the Heavenly Father causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous (Matthew 5:45). Economic blessings, therefore, are not a sign that God has approved a man’s life! Millions of Israelites in the wilderness had been disobedient to God for 40 years. God was very angry with them (Hebrews 3:17). However, all these years God gave them food and good health. Yes, He gave it miraculously (Deuteronomy 8:2). So the “wonderful answers” to prayer for physical and economical needs are not an impression that God is pleased with a man’s life!

On the contrary, when Jesus Christ lived on Earth, He had God’s approval when He was 30 years old! The only reason for that is that during all those years, Jesus overcame the temptations to remain faithful and conquered the temptations that prompted Him to “sin”! He lived not a self-centered life but Father-centered life! Yes, He never did anything that pleased Himself (Romans 15:3).

At His baptism, the Father gave the good witness, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Yes, the Father didn’t say, “My beloved Son, whom I blessed much!” There is no value in this second witness! All that Jesus required was the first witness that crowned Him with the divine approval! Today we are also following Lord Jesus to receive the same witness!!

Prayer:
Holy Heavenly Father! We wish and pray not to follow You for the blessing of worldly pleasures, but for the life that pleases You! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
