“His Voice Today”

🔸️ To “have goodness” in life we must be submissive! 🔸️

Lord Jesus humbled to Joseph and Mary, the given parents on Earth, no matter how flawed His parents were as long as they lived in Nazareth. That was because His Father wanted him to remain so. That’s it! So, whether Joseph and Mary were flawed is not a question, rather the important question is who the Father had appointed for Jesus to be submissive.

There is no doubt that Joseph and Mary lived in the fear of God. Yet we should not forget that they lived under the Old Testament. That is, they had not yet come under grace! Therefore, we can be sure that they wouldn’t have had a victorious life over sin.

Today, just as the couples who have not yet entered into the New Covenant, have quarrels and bitterness within themselves, as like Jesus’ parents ought to have been.

Even so, Jesus being the perfect Son of God, completely obeyed to those two imperfect ones! Thus the first model footprint is to be submissive to imperfect powers!!

If we are willing to follow the same path as Jesus, we must be willing to submit to whatever authority God has appointed upon us … no matter how limited those powers may be! This is also the first commandment given to His children! God has thus promised that there would be “good” for children who are submissive to authority!

From this we can understand that God has much importance in the matter of obeying to powers. If we wish to “have goodness” in our children’s lives, we must teach our children to be “obedient and submissive”!

Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! As like Jesus, being Your children, we like to obey to the authority; help us to have the “goodness” in our life! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
