 “His Voice Today”

🔸️ At the times of trial, God’s way should not be deviated!! 🔸

When Moses was with unbelief and disobedient, even when it was happened for very short time …. God refused him permission to enter the Promised Land. (Numbers 20: 8-12).

Moses, to whom God had already asked 40 years before to “strike” the rock, (Exodus 17:6) now God asked Moses to “speak” with the rock for the water to come. But Moses was passionate, lost temperance and struck the rock (Num. 20:11). Even when the man of God disobeyed, the water came out! It proved that God loved the thirsty people. The disobedience of the man of God cannot be assumed to have been accepted by God. This incident highlights the fact that why even the ministries of God’s people who fail to obey God’s commands, are blessed!

Yes, Moses could not be escaped, though water came out! He was severely punished!! For 40 years though Moses intended to enter the land of Canaan, he lost the ability to enter the land of Canaan “by himself”! Even though preaching to others, it is possible for one to lose his worthiness even at the end of his life!(1Cor. 9:27).

The Israelites saw only the works of God. But Moses had the privilege of knowing His ways (Psalm 103:7). Therefore, it was expected more from him than the Israelites!

The privileges of God’s Servants are enormous! To that extent their responsibilities are more too!!

Moses didn’t feel at Meribha that God was testing him. Had he known, he would have been very cautious. We need to live with the feeling that ‘God is testing us through the circumstances we face in everyday life’ to assess our memories and our deeds!

Prayer:
Our Loving Heavenly Father! Be gracious to know “your guidance” and to lead our lives under any circumstances! We, who are in charge of your ministry, bless us to live without errors! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
